How to create full image backup?
To create a backup copy of the firmware, plugins are used, which are usually preinstalled in the firmware:
Backupsuite - plugin to create a backup copy of the firmware for all models of boxes, except DreamBox.
dFlash - plugin to create a backup copy of the firmware for all DreamBox models.
The mechanism for creating and handle channel logos (picons) changed completely starting from the Live X image.
Now there is no need to create different types of picons.
We have created a huge database of logos (more then 18'500 logos), and a new built-in image unique tool - 'Picons Update Center'.
This center allows us to choose the provider (s) or a bouquet (s) to create picons, and after scanning all found in the database logos will be created AUTOMATICALY for all defined in currently used skin picons types. At the end of the scanning process and creation of them all not found picons will be written in created on /hdd/picons_not_found.log file.

To enable the upgrade to the beta version of the software, you must do the following:
1. Go to the main menu (press the [EXIT] button several times until the main menu appears)
2. Select the [Settings] menu
3. Select the [Software] menu
4. Select the [Settings packages management] menu
5. Select the menu [Allow update to beta / alpha version]
6. Select the [beta] mode with the [Right / Left Arrow]
7. Save settings [Green button]
If You can’t see some menu items, You need to activate Expert mode in Customize menu
When updating the software, it says that there are 7 updates but nothing updates. Why?
This situation can occur for several reasons:
● Due to the violation of the order of the version number of the packages in the repository, in case of such a situation, it is recommended to save the settings and reinstall the firmware from scratch. How to reinstall the firmware from scratch can be found here.
How a plugin can be deleted if it does not appear in the list of installed plugins?
There are two options for uninstalling plugins that do not work, depending on the option used for installation of the plugin/application before deleting:
1. If it was *.ipk package, then it can be deleted using :

After another attempt to reinstall the image could not install.
